The bar clamp is constructed from strong and lightweight aluminum. Small machine screws secure the bottom half of the clamp to the top portion. The installer simply affixes the light to the top portion and places the assembly on the rail or bar. The bottom portion is positioned and secure with the machine screws, cinching the clamp tightly to the bar. An additional set screw at the very bottom of the mount adds additional security for bars that are slightly off size (metric outer diameters). \nThe bar clamp of the SHBM-5500 is attached to a versatile pivot mount that can be adjusted for angle and direction via an attached directional handle and wing bolt.
