This permanent mount HID spotlight is equipped with a rugged polycarbonate control handle and tension hinges that allow the unit to be easily adjusted and set into position and produces a powerful light beam reaching over 4800 feet in length. \n\nThis 70 watt HID spotlight contains a single Xenon D2 lamp powered by an internally contained 70 watt HID ballast with instant on capability and reaches full power light output within 3 seconds. Producing 6,300 lumens of bright white light while drawing only 0.32 amps @ 220VAC and 5.9 amps @ 12VDC, the light beam from this unit in spot configuration exceeds 4,800 feet in length while an optional flood configuration covers an area approximately 400 feet wide by 350 feet long. The housing on this spotlight is constructed of high impact nylon for light weight and durability while the handle assembly is constructed of powder coated steel and solid polycarbonate.\nThe 4 inch square mounting base has 4 corner bolt holes to keep the spotlight secured to the mounting surface under extreme vibration and off-road conditions. Tension hinges incorporated into the mounting assembly allow the light to hold its position once adjusted without the need to set or lock any hardware before releasing the adjusting handle. The operator simply adjusts the unit to the desired position and releases it to set the unit into position.\nThis unit includes our DCP-11-DP transformer that converts common 220VAC current into 12VDC current, allowing operation of this spotlight from vehicles with 220 AC power sources, indoors or outdoors and anywhere 12 volt DC power is not readily available. Rubber isolators connect the housing to the adjustable steel tensioner hinges to further provide protection from vibration and give this unit a 12G RMS vibration resistance rating. The mounting assembly is constructed of steel and the adjusting handle is constructed of powder coated steel with a solid polycarbonate handle. The High Intensity Discharge Lamp has no filament and is highly resistant to damage from vibrations and shocks. The lamp is protected by a Borosilicate hardened glass lens. This spotlight is gasketed and sealed and IP67 rated, making it weatherproof and waterproof and resistant to the ingress of water, dust and other contaminants. \nMounting: This light has a 4 inch square steel mounting plate that is secured to the mounting surface via 4 screws. The mounting assembly on this unit allows the unit to be rotated and adjusted vertically. The adjusting hinges on this light are tensioned, allowing the user to simply position the light as desired without any need for locking the unit into place. Once positioned, the light will hold its position until the user again repositions it. \nPower: This light can be operated on either common 220 volt ac power or 12 volt DC current and includes a 25` SOOW Cord to allow the operator to mount the light itself at a different location than the transformer. The transformer included with this unit can operate with voltages within the 90-295VAC range, giving it near universal AC power capability. The inline power transformer has a normal straight plug for connecting to common household type outlets and is connected to the light with a 2 pin Deutsch connector.
