This light boom can be extended to 4' for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 2' for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing and each section has a 1'+ overlap. The mast is extended to its full height by hand and secured at the desired height via a set pin. This mast can only be deployed fully extended to 4 feet or fully collapsed at 2 feet. There is no in-between adjustment.\n\nThe LM series of telescoping towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 6\" by 6\" by 1\/4\" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled with (4) 0.400\" holes to accept four 3\/8\" anchor bolts. \nThe LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 2', the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph.\nThis light tower weighs approximately 200 lb and can easily support and lift 30 lb fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 54\"L x 48\"W x 36\"H and weighs approximately 275 lb.
