This light boom can be extended to 6 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 3 feet for applications where a footprint smaller than 6 feet is required and folded over for transportation. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section of 16.2\" in length and 7\" by 7\" by 1\/8\" think, a lower section 18.48\" in length and 5\" by 5\" by 1\/8\" thick, a middle section 20.76\" in length and 4\" by 4\" by 1\/8\" thick, an upper section 23.04\" in length and 3\" by 3\" by 1\/8\" think, and a top section 29.04\" in length and 2\" by 2\" by 1\/8\" thick. Each section has a 5\" minimum overlap. The mast is extended and retracted using a 2,000lb electric winch with 3\/16\" galvanized cable. \nThe LM series of towers are powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and an aesthetic appearance. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1\/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 3\/4 inch anchor bolts.
