This light boom can be extended to 50 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 13 feet for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 11` in length and 6\" x 6\" by 3\/16\" thick, lower section 11` in length and 5\" x 5\" by 3\/16\" thick, middle section 11` in length and 4\" x 4\" by 1\/8\" thick, an upper section 11` in length and 3\" x 3\" by 1\/8\" thick, and a top section 11` in length and 2\" x 2\" by 1\/8\" thick. Each section has a 15-18\" overlap. When lowered to 13 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. A 52\" long mounting plate constructed of 2\" by 2\" by 1\/4\" thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for equipment. This light mast is mounted to a 16` skid base with four side skid pockets to allow for fork lifts and skid steers to transport this unit from all four sides of the unit. A support arm at the end of the skid supports the mast in the collapsed position. The weighted base allows this mast to be deployed without permanently mounting the mast, and includes anchor holes to anchor the unit down for long term deployment.\nThis light tower weighs approximately 600 lbs, can easily support and lift 50 lbs (maximum) fixtures or equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1200 lbs.
