This light tower folds over for easy transportation, features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, and an antenna mount pole (located at the top of the tower). The entire assembly is mounted onto a 14' tandem axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this fold over boom from location to location.\n*PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS*\nThis telescoping four stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy antennas in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 40' for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 40 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 13 feet for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 11.25' in length and 5\" x 5\" by 3\/16\" thick, lower section 11.25' in length and 4\" x 4\" by 1\/8\" thick, an upper section 11.25' in length and 3\" x 3\" by 1\/8\" thick, and a top section 11.75' in length and 2\" x 2\" by 1\/8\" thick. Each section has a 15-18\" overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 2,500 lb hand winch with 3\/16 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 2,500 lb winch. \nThis cell on wheels comes with an antenna mount pole (OD 2\") at the top of the tower. Operators may use the trailer to store communication devices and other supporting equipment, such as cables, electronics, amplifiers, monitoring systems, cameras, handheld tools, lights and more.\n When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different positions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with ease, and can typically be rotated with a single hand.\nThe LM series of towers are powder coated with a glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. This light mast is mounted to a 14' by 6', tandem axle trailer via six 1\/2\" anchor bolts. The trailer is equipped with a 3,500 lb rated tandem axle and leaf springs with four, 15\" trailer tires. The trailer can support and haul an additional 7,000 lbs of equipment. A standard 2\" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 4-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing (4-pin round, 6-pin round, 7-pin round and 7-Pin flat options are available).\nThe LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lb hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2' out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 13.5', the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph.
