Equipped with three UV-C fixtures, this system helps to reduce the risk of cross infection and minimizes the exposure of occupants to infectious airborne microbes. Equipped with three UV-C lights, an indirect UV air disinfection fixture projects ultraviolet rays across the top of the room it is deployed in. The upper air in the room that passes through the UV rays via convection currents or forced air circulation is then sanitized. Bacteria and viruses present in the air that passes through the UV rays produced by the fixture are destroyed. The air in the room is constantly being purified as it flows through the UV rays being produced by the fixture. The IND-SDE-SS-R1-UVC-AH-XF-120V-25C is capable of disinfecting the air within an area nine feet wide and 16.25 feet long from the front of the unit.\r\u003cbr\u003eNext, two high output UV  barrier germicidal fixtures project ultraviolet rays onto the surface of the stainless steel divider. Bacteria and viruses present in the air that passes through the UV rays produced by the fixture are destroyed. Louvers control the beam width and depth which allows it to be adjusted to create a balanced germicidal barrier from the fixture to the surface and floor.\r\u003cbr\u003eUV Air Disinfection Fixture:\r\u003cbr\u003eThe UV air disinfection fixture is mounted at the top of the stainless steel divider for disinfecting the upper air in the area of deployment. Equipped with a pair UVC fluorescent lamps, this light offers 7.5 watts of UV output at a wavelength of 254nm from each side of the unit. The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern.\r\u003cbr\u003eUV Barrier Fixtures:\r\u003cbr\u003eTwo UV barrier fixtures are arranged on the stainless steel divider in a downward position for sanitizing the surface and airspace. Equipped with a 20 watt UVC fluorescent lamp, each light offers 7.55 total watts of UV output at a wavelength of 254nm. The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. The lights can be left on continuously. A series of front mounted louvers protects people from harmful UV light as well as maximizing the amount of UV rays that are projected across the upper air of the room. The legs can be equipped with mounting lugs for anchoring to concrete. This system can be deployed to sanitize the upper air above that is not trapped by the divider.\r\u003cbr\u003eCompared to polycarbonate alternatives, this metallic divider is long lasting and non-porous which deters accumulation of bacteria, mold, stains and debris. Custom sizes and mounting features, as well as bolt-on solutions are available at an additional cost. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
