Please call us at 1(647) 254-9757 to place your order. If you prefer to place your order online, a PuriLite agent will be in touch with you to discuss any custom options.
Made in the USA\r
The Larson Electronics GVP-EMG-48-2L-LED-SFC is similar to our popular explosion proof LED fixtures and provides an LED alternative to fluorescent fixtures that provides longer lamp life and higher performance. These 2 LED tube lamp fixtures produce more output with longer lamp life and are vapor proof and impact/ vibration resistant. Please note that this unit is vapor proof and not approved for use in hazardous locations.\r
The GVP-EMG-48-2L-LED-SFC is equipped with two specially designed LED T8-series bulbs which produce 3,500 lumens each and have a correlated color temperature of 5,600K. The GVP-EMG-48-2L-LED-SFC, four foot long, two lamp LED light fixture is designed for those who wish to replace or upgrade from fluorescent equipped fixtures and offers better light output and longer lamp life with reduced maintenance costs. With no ballast and solid state LED light tubes, this fixture draws less than 0.5 amps of power while offering durability and versatility that common fluorescent fixtures cannot match.\r
We have eliminated the ballast box normally associated with fluorescent fixtures which reduces overall weight and creates a slimmer unit profile. There is no ballast in this unit and the included LED lamps have a 50,000+ hour service life, both of which result in extreme efficiency and greatly reduced maintenance costs. The solid state design of the LED lamps give this fixture superior resistance to damage from vibration, extremes in temperature, and a lamp service life over twice that of standard fluorescent bulbs.\r
This emergency LED light works, mounts and is wired like our GVP-EMG-48-2L-LED-SFC vapor proof LED light fixtures. The main difference is that we add a battery backup unit that adds emergency light functionality to the fixture. This emergency battery backup will run one bulb at the standard UL suggested 90 minutes after power is lost at 3,500 lumens. The light recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. Standard configuration includes a single emergency battery backup that is automatically recharged and kept in a ready state. The battery backup unit includes a switched leg for turning the light fixture on/off without kicking the unit into emergency mode.\r
The 24 watt LED lamps produce more illumination than standard fluorescent T8 bulbs. The GVP-EMG-48-2L-LED-SFC is multi-voltage and operates on any voltage from 110V to 277V AC 50/60hz. We also offer this vapor proof fixture in a low voltage 12-24V DC configuration. Integral aluminum heat sink tube backings provide cool operation and long LED life, while a simple latching system seals the lens cover to the housing and provides easy access for re-lamping.\r
T5HO\r
T8\r
LED\r
Wattage\r
108 watts\r
64 watts\r
56 watts\r
Amp Draw @ 120V AC\r
0.90 amps\r
0.54 amps\r
0.47 amps\r
Amp Draw @ 220V AC\r
0.49 amps\r
0.29 amps\r
0.25 amps\r
Amp Draw @ 240V AC\r
0.45 amps\r
0.27 amps\r
0.23 amps\r
Amp Draw @ 277V AC\r
0.39 amps\r
0.24 amps\r
0.20 amps\r
Amp Draw @ 12V DC\r
9 amps\r
5.34 amps\r
4.67 amps\r
Amp Draw @ 24V DC\r
4.5 amps\r
2.67 amps\r
2.34 amps\r
Lamp Life Expectancy\r
20,000 hours\r
24,000 hours\r
50,000 hours\r
Operation cost per year\r
$56.77\r
$33.64\r
$29.43\r
This unit is designed to be surface mounted and includes built in mounts.
