Running on 4 AA batteries, this battery-powered unit features an air-free heat sink and a lockable on\/off switch to prevent unwanted activation in hazardous locations. \nThe intrinsically safe LED flashlight offers intense illumination in hazardous locations, which includes mining sites and gas processing facilities. The MSHA-approved portable luminary supports the following beam settings: low, high or flash. In low beam mode, the unit emits 62 lumens of white light, reaching 272` with a runtime of 13 hours. In high beam mode, the flashlight emits 157 lumens of white light, reaching 383` with a runtime of 6.15 hours. Weighing 4.9 ounces, this luminary is extremely lightweight.
