This explosion proof switch provides manual starting and stopping of small AC and DC motors.\nThe EPS-2XPB-SG-600V Explosion Proof Stop\/Start Push Button Switch is built to be heavy duty, has a 600V rating and an inrush amp level of 12 amps. The switch is enclosed in a cast iron device box and the faceplate has smooth, double flanges that mate both to the cover and the mounting enclosure to provide flame tight joints. The screws consist of stainless steel hex head screws and attach the cover to the mounting enclosure. The side rocker arm push button has lockout holes, and the switches are supplied with an internal ground screw.\nThe EPS-2XPB-SG-600V housing is made out of a malleable iron body with a cast copper free aluminum alloy cover, and is epoxy powder coated for a natural finish.
