The aluminum base on this unit has three pre-drilled 0.437\" diameter holes to allow the fixture to be permanently mounted to flat surfaces for maximum stability. The lamp can be easily adjusted up or down 90 degrees and locked into position by simply loosening the two hand screws located on either side of the light head and retightening them once the desired angle is found. Included with this unit is 100 feet of SOOW cord terminating in an 1523 5-15p Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof straight blade plug.\nThe lamp assembly includes a 150 watt high pressure sodium bulb, internal ballast and aluminum finish reflector in a copper-free cast aluminum housing with a thermoset powder coat finish. The shell, covers and sealed fittings are also made of copper-free aluminum. The lens is constructed of 3\/4\" thermal shock and impact resistant tempered glass and the housing contains threaded joints lubricated with non-drying lubricant. The HPS lamp has no filament and is thus highly resistant to damage from shocks or impacts, greatly reducing the chances of damage should the lamp be dropped or hit, unlike incandescent lamps which may break or shatter.
