The non sparking, adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to nine feet and collapsed to four and a half feet while wheels on the base of the quadpod feet enable the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location. The explosion proof light head can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the quadpod support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down and locked into position. Included with this tank light is 250 feet of SOOW cord which combined with the ease of mobility and 90 degrees of tilt offered by the metal halide light head provides an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights.\nThe light head on this unit measures 23 7\/8 inches in diameter, which allows it to fit through most standard 24 inch manholes and entry points.
