This means that this power distribution system can provide either 12-24 VDC or 12-24 VAC through its secondary output. The output side is equipped with four L5-20 sockets designed to accept twist lock plugs.\nThis power transformer also incorporates an integrated adjustable voltage control which allows operators to increase the voltage levels fed to equipment from the unit to compensate for voltage drops that occur when very long length cords are used. Should operators experience drops in the intensity of illumination produced by lighting equipment because of the use of extra long cords for example, the operator can increase the voltage from 12 to 24 volts to compensate and maintain light intensity.  For example, operators can use 12 volts for a 50 foot line, but can raise the voltage to 18 volts to push volatge down a 150 foot cord, so the light, for example, still receives the full 12 volts.\nAlso included are 2 GFCI protected outlets which are compatible with 5-15 plugs, enabling operators to run standard voltage equipment and appliances as well as low voltage equipment through the twist lock connections. The TX-500VA-4XAO power distribution system ships with a 6 foot SOOW cord with standard 5-15 plug for connection to 120 VAC.
