The LM-SD-NB-12-7-2S is not equipped with a base which gives operators the freedom to decide upon their own preferred mounting method. The lack of a base makes this mast a good fit for wall mounting, trailer mounting, or other custom designs and applications. This light boom can be extended to 12 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 7 feet for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 6.5` in length and 3\" by 3\" by 1\/8\" thick and an upper section 6.5` and 2\" by 2\" by 1\/8\" thick with 1` overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3\/16\" cable. The winch is mounted 51.39\" above the bottom of the mast.\nThe LM-SD-NB-12-7-2S is available in either a powder coated glossy blue finish or a galvanized finish. The LM-SD-NB-12-7-2S can be ideal for custom wall mounting, custom trailer mounting, and other custom applications. A 36-inch wide and 1\/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for equipment.\nThe LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can withstand 125 MPH gusts when mounted equipment weighs 15 lbs or less; and it can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with ease, and can typically be rotated with a single hand.\nThis light tower weighs approximately 120 lbs and can easily support and lift 150 pounds of lights or equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 500 lbs.
