This light boom can be extended to 30 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 12 feet for applications where a footprint smaller than 12 feet is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 14` in length and 4\" in diameter by 1\/8\" thick, middle section 12` in length and 3\" in diameter by 1\/8\" thick, and an upper section 8` and 2\" in diameter by 1\/8\" thick. Each section has 2 foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lbs hand winch with 3\/16 inch cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch.\nThis fold over light tower is equipped with two of our wet area suitable  metal halide floodlight fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 220,000 lumens at 2000 watts. Each fixture produces 110,000 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 1000 watts @8.34 amps for a combined 16.67 amp draw on a 120 volt electrical system. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 2.5 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom via an adjustable U-bracket that allows the operator to independently adjust each lamp both vertically and horizontally. Each fixture includes an internal support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. A 36 inch wide and 1\/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures. \nThe LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 12 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. \nThis light tower weighs approximately 1000 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1500 lbs.
