This two section horizontal light boom can be extended to 20` for maximum area coverage and retracted to 14 feet when not in use. The mast boom is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 14` in length and 3\" by 3\" by 1\/8\" thick and a boom section 8` feet in length and 2\" by 2\" by 1\/8\" thick with a 2` minimum overlap between stages. A 44\" wide and 2\" by 2\" by 1\/8\" thick mounting platform at the end of the boom allows operators to mount equipment to the mast boom. The mast is extended and retracted via a lead screw that is driven by a 1,000 lb electric winch. These masts are freestanding, but can be mounted to trailers or anchored down for long term use. A central platform allows operators to mount counterweights. A backplate below the mast control box provides convenient location for mounting customer provided panels, controls, and small transformers. Additional equipment can be factory equipped, such as transformers, controls, and lighting equipment.\nThe skid platform is constructed of steel and powder coated blue or galvanized. This can be replaced with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs for an additional cost. Larger units are available upon request. Horizontal masts can be equipped with leveling outriggers, pickeyes, or trailer mounted. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the , , , , and .\nThe electric winch on this mast is offered in 120V or 240V AC 50\/60 HZ. Larson Electronics can offer single phase and three phase AC winches, or low voltage DC winches.\nThis light tower weighs approximately 380 lbs, can easily support and extend 150 lbs fixtures.
