The tower can be extended to 20` above the trailer floor for maximum area coverage, and collapsed to 9` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 4\" by 4\" by 1\/8\" thick, middle section 3\" by 3\" by 1\/8\" thick, and an upper section 2\" by 2\" by 1\/8\" thick. Each section has 1` foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000lb rated hand winch with 3\/16\" galvanized steel cable and extended to its full height using a second 1,000 lbs winch.\nThere are two, 12V 8D 250aH batteries (wired in 24V for 500aH total capacity) on the trailer. At full charge, the system can power up to 600 watts of equipment at 24V DC for 8 hours before reaching the 50% discharge limit of the SLA batteries. A removable A-frame stand on the trailer allows operators to bolt up to two 300 watt user provided solar panels.\nThe LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lbs hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 9`, the mast can withstand winds up to 55 mph.
