The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 10 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 8 feet in length and 3.5 inches in diameter with 2 foot of overlap. A 36 inch wide and 1\/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for the four metal halide fixtures.\nIncluded with this light tower are two of our wet area suitable  metal halide fixtures producing a combined total of approximately 200,000 lumens at 2,000 watts. These lamps have 19” reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. These floodlights produce a wide flood light pattern capable of illuminating approximately 3 acres. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. When lowered to 10 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. \nThis light tower weighs approximately 325 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 550 lbs.
