This 3-watt infrared LED lamp is offered in 750nm, 850 nm or 940 nm wavelengths. A permanent base provides secure, rugged mounting while a double ball joint mount provides the operator with the ability to adjust the unit at various angles while mounted.\nThe LEDLB-1-IR-PDB is a heavy-duty infrared LED lamp for outdoor locations and rugged applications. This unit operates on low voltage 9-42V DC and is offered in the following infrared bands: 750 nm, 850 nm or 940 nm. During use, the infrared fixture emits a 10-degree spot beam measuring 225` x 25` or a 35-degree flood beam measuring 45` x 40`. Floodlight versions with a 35 degree beam spread are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture. \nOur LED10W series of LED lights are waterproof to 3 meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt, and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. \nHeat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power.\nVoltage Control: These units are able to monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LED10W series LED lights can operate on current ranging from 9 to 42V DC without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and standalone applications such as those found on commercial boats, heavy equipment and vehicles where power systems don’t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical.\nDurability: The LED10W series of LED light bars from Larson Electronics offer IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand frigid temperatures, are waterproof to three meters, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. \nMounting: A 4\"X4\" permanent mount base with 4 through-holes secures this unit to various flat surfaces while a double ball joint mount allows 360 degrees of rotation and 140 degrees of tilt. To adjust this LED unit simply loosen to the thumb bolt located on the side of unit, position the light head as desired, then retighten the thumb screw.\nNote: We include a short male plug with 2 wires, stripped and tinned for connection to leads from a power source with the LEDLB-1-IR-PDB (i.e. vehicle system, battery, etc.).\nMost Larson Electronics LEDLB, LEDP3W, LEDP10W, and LED10W series LED spotlights and floodlights are terminated with a Deutsch IPD \/ LADD DT04-2P connector. The mating connector plug is DT06-2S. Most LEDLB, LEDP10W and LED10W series lights ship with mating connector as part of a harness or pigtail, depending on the model.
