A 1\/2 inch base extension in the center of the light containing the wiring connections passes through the hull for secure through surface wiring. In boating applications the operator can drill a 1\/2 inch hole in the hull and insert the base mount, passing the base extension through the hull. The 2 wire installation can then be done inside the hull.
