This fixture is equipped with a 1500 watt metal halide lamp which produces the intense illumination and good color rendering normally associated with these lamps. The metal halide lamp is secured within a separate die cast housing for strength and durability while a clear tempered glass lens provides protection for the lamp. The unit is standard with a remote ballast that can be mounted up to 6 feet from the HID unit (wired).
