In the event of power outage, this NEMA 4X unit will continue to function for 90 minutes, via a high-temperature rated nickel cadmium battery. \nThe HAL-EMG-2X3W-2L is an emergency LED lighting solution for hazardous locations. Equipped with dual LED light heads, the unit features 120-277V AC 50\/60 Hz input and 12V DC output. Should power outage occur, the unit may revert to a high-temperature rated nickel cadmium battery for power, which offers a runtime of 90 minutes. An auto-disconnect feature built into the fixture preserves the solid-state battery and charger. A self-testing\/self-monitoring feature streamlines maintenance and diagnostics. \nThis hazardous location LED emergency luminary is constructed of non-metallic Krydon fiberglass-reinforced polyester with nylon, plastic coated and stainless steel external hardware. The cover gasket is made out of Hypalon synthetic rubber; and the LED lamp head is protected by epoxy powder coated aluminum. \nThis unit is suitable for hazardous work locations associated with the following ratings: Class I, Division 2 (Groups B, C and D) and Class II, Division 2 (Groups F and G). These batteries are maintenance-free and have a life expectancy of 15 years while being able to operate in a wide variety of conditions including in temperatures up to 55°C.
