Consisting of a transmitter and receiver, the 24V DC system provides protection at heights ranging between 13.8\" and 48\". Both explosion proof components are constructed of cast aluminum. \nThe EXP-LX-V1-48 is a cutting-edge safety light curtain for hazardous locations and flammable environments. This 24V DC system consists of a transmitter and a receiver, which provides automated detection of movements around machines. The solid-state, 14-watt system is capable of protection at heights between 13.8\" and 48\" with 0.55\", 0.75\" or 1.18\" resolutions. Operating range includes 1` to 45` for 0.75\" and 1.18\" resolutions. During use, operators can select automatic start or start\/restart interlock mode, which is suitable for point-of-operation or perimeter guarding configurations. \nIn float blanking mode, up to two beams can be blocked within the desired zone. This explosion proof system is constructed of cast aluminum. For protection against water and dust, the components are NEMA and IP66 rated. \nMounting\/Wiring: The EXP-LX-V1-48 is compatible with surface mount configurations. An 8-pin connection for the receiver and a 3-pin standard connection for the transmitter are available. When used with an MTS (not included), a 5-pin connection for the transmitter can be used.
