The 800-watt rated unit automates dusk-to-dawn lighting controls by turning on compatible lights at 2-2.5 foot candles. The EPL-AED-1X-GL is Class I, Divisions 1 \u0026amp; 2, Groups B, C, D, Class I, Zones 1 \u0026amp; 2, Groups IIB+H2, IIA, Class II, Divisions 1 \u0026amp; 2, Groups E, F ,G and Class III Divisions 1 \u0026amp; 2 rated for hazardous areas and is NRTL listed for use worldwide including the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. When ordering this unit, please choose from the following voltage options: 120V AC or 208-277V AC.\nThe EXP-DNS-800W promotes safety by turning on indoor and outdoor luminaires in critical passageways at night. During operation, the device activates luminaries at 2-2.5 footcandles. Rated at 800 watts, the unit is compatible with indoor and outdoor and outdoor lighting systems. The explosion proof photocell may also be used to conserve energy by only activating the luminaries when necessary. For durability, the EXP-DNS-800W is constructed of copper free cast aluminum. Neoprene 0-rings are provided with the enclosure to assure water resistance in NEMA 4\/IP66 conditions. For maximum use of interior space, the explosion proof device box comes with offset feed-thru or dead end conduit openings (1\/2\" or 3\/4€ NPT).\nAn internal ground screw is conveniently located away from the mounting components. The photocell enclosure is finished with silver powder epoxy paint (electrostatically applied). The ground screws are made out of zinc plated steel with green dye, while the allen head cover screw is constructed of cadmium plated steel. This explosion proof photocell comes with a 3\/8\" thick tempered glass lens cover.
