This rugged extension cord is equipped with a 60-amp rated weatherproof VP6034 pin\/sleeve cord cap and one, 60-amp VPR6034 pin\/sleeve female connector. The extension cord allows operators to extend power to equipment when stationary weatherproof outlets are not readily available. \nThe EXC-50-N4X-1686-3PH-60A-600V-3P4W extension cord provides a safe and effective way for operators to extend three-phase 600V power to a variety of devices for plant maintenance, power generators, construction and other temporary applications. This 50 feet of chemical and abrasion resistant flexible 6\/4 SOOW cable is terminated in an IEC 60309, 60-amp three-phase 600V VP6034 pin\/sleeve cord cap. Operators are provided access to one, 60-amp three-phase 600V VPR6034 pin\/sleeve female connector at the end of the extension cord.\nInterchangeability: The connector and plug is fully interchangeable with configured and certified to UL1686 devices, such as Crouse-Hinds® Arktite® or Appleton® Powertite®. Standard location receptacle bolt hole patterns match competitive back boxes so users can perform upgrades without changing back boxes in instances where changing the conduit system is difficult.\nReverse Service\/Polarized Configurations: Larson Electronics offers Reverse Service and Polarized configurations for all XLE-PA-N4X-1686 wiring devices. In Reverse Service configurations, receptacles and connectors are assembled with plug interiors and the plugs are assembled with receptacle interiors. Reverse service is designed for applications where the plug is energized, such as from a generator, to feed a non energized receptacle. This prevents energized pins from being exposed. Polarized configuration rotates the interior of receptacles and connectors 22.5° to the right. Plug interiors are rotated 22.5° opposite to match receptacles and connectors. Polarized configuration prevents accidental connector between mismatched voltage or mismatched frequencies in locations where the devices of the same amperage, poles, and grounding configuration exist. For Reverse Service configuration, add -S39 to sku.
