One 400 watt metal halide lamp provides light coverage for 25,000 square feet of work area while a Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D approval assures reliable protection against inadvertent ignitions. \nThis hazardous area light package is designed to provide operators in hazardous locations with an easily deployed and highly stable hazardous location approved lighting platform. Included with this unit is a 400 watt metal halide lamp and 100 feet of abrasive and oil resistant 16\/3 SOOW cord terminating in a Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof plug. The metal halide lamp is mounted to a metal pedestal platform with adjustable T handles that provides vertical adjustability. The lamp can be easily adjusted up or down 90 degrees and locked into position by simply loosening the two hand screws located on either side of the light head and re-tightening them once the desired angle is found.\nThe lamp housing is weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing. The optical assembly includes a precision-formed aluminum reflector and heat\/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass.
