This unit contains 570 cubic inches of volume and is constructed of copper-free aluminum. The explosion proof enclosure can be used to comply with domestic and international code requirements, while providing protection for operators and nearby workers.\nThe EPL-AEC-7.75-GL-9X0.5-M1 offers protection from explosive hazards and ignitions, dust, harsh weather and rough treatment (tampering). This explosion proof box contains a 7.75\" viewing window and 570 cubic inches of volume. Constructed of copper-free aluminum, four openings at every corner of the unit are available for surface mounting applications. The explosion proof device box is compatible with conduit sizes up to 3.5\". This unit is rated Type 3, 4 and 4X and designed to withstand the rigors of demanding environmental and operating conditions while remaining robust and easy to use. \nHubs: The explosion proof enclosure contains nine 1\/2\" NPT hubs. Three 1\/2\" NPT hubs can be found on the south side, west side and east side of the unit.
