Factory tapped with two 2\" NPT hubs, this explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 8\" in length by 12\" in width by 6\" in height. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. Two NPT hubs are factory tapped to allow conduit entry into the enclosure. The hub sizes and locations are as follows: one 2\" on the north side and one 2\"\" on the south side. Mounting is provided by four ears, two per side of the enclosure.\nThis explosion proof enclosure features a 3\" x 6\" rectangular viewing lens at the cover.
