This light boom can be extended to 30 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8.25 feet for closer more intense illumination.\nThe tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for strength and durability. This tower is comprised of five sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of lights or cameras. The mast is elevated using an air compressor, sold separately. An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. All wiring in internal, meaning no loose wiring when collapsed. This light tower weighs 320 lbs, and can easily support and lift 150+ lbs fixtures. When fully extended, this light tower can withstand winds up to 70 mph without guys. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs 350 lbs.
