The 850Nm versions have a very slight red glow around the LED emitters when viewed from a certain angle while higher NM units cannot be viewed with the human eye. This light comes standard to run off of a 110VAC wall plug in source, however, operator can remove the transformer allowing the unit to run on any voltage from 9 to 42 volts. This unit is set up as a medical infrared led light emitter.
