Constructed of die cast aluminum and U.L. listed for wet areas, this 12 Volt DC fixture is a versatile and ideal hazardous area lighting solution for areas where wet or damp environments may be encountered. \nThe durable HALPRM-12V low voltage light fixture is suitable for use in wet outdoor environments, making it an ideal lighting solution for industrial applications, boat docks, building exteriors and outdoor work areas. The lamp housing is weather resistant and constructed of pressure cast copper free aluminum with an architectural bronze Polyester finish. The lens door is pressure-cast copper-free aluminum, and secured with 1\/4” diameter captive stainless steel slotted hex-head bolts. This unit features 12 volt DC operation and a 10 watt 50,000 hour LED bulb for a bright white light output.\nThe optical assembly includes thermal shock and impact resistant door glass with a pressure-cast copper-free aluminum door frame and heavy duty, high temperature silicone rubber seal. The lamp socket is a specification grade mogul base porcelain unit with heavy gauge brass, a nickel-plated, double lamp-grip screw shell and spring-loaded center contact. The reflectors are a double segment compound parabolic design with Alzak® finish for maximum efficiency. \nThis unit includes a zinc plated steel trunnion mount with architectural bronze Polyester finish for adjustability and resistance to damage from the elements.\nThis hazardous area light is rated U.L. standard 844 and 1598 compliant, approved Class 1 Division 2, Groups A,B,C,D, and functionable in an environment of up to 180 degrees celcius. This hazardous area light is designed to operate on 12 volt DC current, making it suitable for use in areas where low voltage is either preferred or required. This lamp is suitable for use in areas were flammable gases and vapors are present occasionally and in low densities and IS NOT suitable for use in confined spaces. \nThis 10 watt LED flood light is highly durable, can operate in ambient temperatures to 180 degrees C, and will not produce temperatures greater than 325 degrees C. All hardware on this unit is resistant to rain, snow, salt water and corrosive chemicals.
