The HID light is secured on brackets for seamless surface mounting applications. \nThe EPL-20W-G2-SGM is designed for illumination during tank monitoring or inspections in Class I and II, Divisions 1 and 2 rated locations. This HID sight glass light features a 140-minute runtime on a full charge. A single 20-watt short arc Xenide HID bulb powered by an internal ballast produces a 1,200 lumen beam. This light is IP68 rated waterproof, which is capable of withstanding submersion under pressure without damage. The HID bulb provides high power and efficiency as well as a 6500k color temperature, producing a powerful beam that is a brilliant white-blue in color. \nThis light has a single push button switch that allows easy one handed activation. The durable aluminum body has a black anodized coating to provide protection inside combustible facilities. \nCharging\/Wiring: This HID light is powered by a rechargeable 4,800mAh lithium-ion battery. The power cell can be charged by an included 100\/240V AC, 50\/60Hz charger with overcharge protection and LED indicator. A consistent amount of current is fed to the bulb. The filament glows and light and heat are produced. The filament glows because it is a poor conductor of electricity. Eventually the filament breaks due to vibration or diminished capacity. HID lights contain two electrodes and gases bounded by a glass bulb. A spark jumps across the electrodes igniting the gas.
