This device offers both Celsius and Fahrenheit readings within a range of 89.6°F - 109.4°F (32°C to 43°C) in body mode and within a range of 32°F - 212°F (0°C to 100°C) in object mode. A measuring distance of 0.39\" to 3.93\" (1 to 10 cm) is recommended for optimum temperature accuracy in object mode. A measuring distance of 1.18\" to 1.96\" (3cm to 5cm) is recommended for optimum temperature accuracy in body mode. The XLE-MD-TM-IR-R1 requires one second to conduct a temperature reading.
