The light then remains where it was positioned until the operator moves it again. Constructed from durable and corrosion resistant ABS, this spotlight can hold up to rough use. The shaft is constructed from stainless steel with a triple plate chrome coating and the handle is black rubber. A thumb operated toggle switch is located on top of the handle. Operators install the filter by simply removing the standard lens bezel on the spotlight and twisting the IR filter in its place. Once the IR filter is twisted onto the spotlight, it is secured via a single set screw found on the bottom of the filter. The IR filter is constructed from machined aluminum and the IR lens is coated borosilicate. The IR filter that comes with the PMSL-2016-GM-TH-12V-IR-850 contains all visible light when it is installed properly and only allows 850nm infrared light through.\r\u003cbr\u003eMounting:\r\u003cbr\u003eThis infrared spotlight is designed to mount through the A-pillar post of the vehicle  and may require notching the door to close after installation. Larson Electronics offers drivers side (left side of vehicle) and passenger side (right side of vehicle) mounting solutions - please choose mounting side when ordering. For right-hand drive vehicles, please choose passenger side for the right side driver`s side of the vehicle.
