This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.\r\u003cbr\u003eThe MGS-480.1X30A-1X60A-3P-30KVA-208.120-4X20A portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 480 volt and 125 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480 volt line-in power using a customer provided cord to one 460R7W receptacle and one L16-30R receptacle for 480V equipment. On the secondary side, operators connect to four 520R-GFCI receptacles for 125V equipment.\r\u003cbr\u003eA customer-provided cord brings 480V three phase power to the NEMA 3R 150-amp, 480\/277V three phase primary main circuit breaker panel, which contains one 60-amp breaker protecting one 480V, 460R7W receptacle and one 30-amp breaker protecting one 480V, L16-30R receptacle, and passes 480V three phase through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 30 KVA transformer converts 480V three phase power to 208Y\/120V three phase and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 125-amp, 208Y\/120V three phase main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains four 20-amp breakers protecting four 125V 520R-GFCI receptacles.\r\u003cbr\u003eThe transformer and distribution assembly is mounted onto a rugged carbon steel frame with integrated skid pockets and a top located lifting eyelet to allow easy transport.\r\u003cbr\u003eThe standard frame constrution is ¼ inch thick, 3 inch square tubing frame. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customers needs. This power distribution system is designed for outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, plant maintenance, hazardous location operations, as a welding station, shows, exhibits, and marine applications.\r\u003cbr\u003eCertification:\r\u003cbr\u003eLarson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice.
