This 6-pole hazardous location switch can be mounted on walls for seamless access. \nThe HLSW-MDS-20A-6P-ES provides operators with a reliable method for managing electrical circuits and power in Class I, Division 2 and Class II, Division 1 \u0026amp; 2 work sites. This unit is rated for 20 amps with a maximum voltage rating of 690V AC. The 6-pole disconnect switch is compatible with three phase and features one, normally closed (NC) contact. The large, red (with yellow lining) rotary handle provides streamlined activation for operators with gloved hands. For adhering to OSHA lockout\/tagout guidelines, the handle is lockable. \nThe explosion proof disconnect switch is constructed of non-metallic fiberglass-reinforced polyester with silicon gasketing and stainless steel cover screws. The handle is made out of impact-resistant thermoplastic. Compared to bulky cast metal variants, this unit is lightweight and very resistant to the effects of corrosion and hard impacts.
