The Mylar flood lens can withstand the heat and, with care, can be removed and re-applied at will as long as the operator keeps the adhesive backing clean. In reality, the operator is likely to either leave the flood lens in place or use a new one. For this reason, we sell these Golight Stryker lens covers in packs of five (5) units.  \n \nAnother unique aspect of the this adhesive backed flood lens design is the ability for the operator to control the amount of flood light created and dispersed. By applying one lens on top of another, the flood beam will expand in width and shorten in distance. There is also an added benefit. The lens application will reduce œblinding the operator when they look directly at the lens from a distance. Any time you look at a bright light, your eyes take a moment to adjust.
