This rugged extension cord is constructed of six inches of 12-gauge 3-conductor wire, equipped with a 15-amp rated explosion proof 2-pole 3-wire pin sleeve male cord cap and features a tri-tap receptacle for powering a variety of general use devices.\nThe EPP-250-2P-3X-15A linecord provides a safe and effective way for operators to power a variety of general use devices within a hazardous location with a hot permit. The EPP-250-2P-3X-15A consists of 6\" of chemical and abrasion resistant flexible 12\/3 SOOW cord that is terminated in a 2-pole 3-wire pin sleeve, 15 amp rated, explosion proof cord cap. A tri-tap receptable allows operators to connect up to three devices.\nHot Work Permit: This line cord is approved for hot work permit applications and allows operators to use their non-explosion proof equipment within an explosion proof environment. The alternative to this line cord is to convert non-explosion proof equipment to explosion proof plugs which can quickly become prohibitively expensive.
