This NEMA 4X rated unit contains one, main explosion proof switchboard protected by a purged enclosure and three, explosion proof panelboards with 3-pole, 35kAIC branch breakers. The system operates on 480V AC and is compatible with wall and surface mounting applications. \nThe EPL-AEP-1XSB-3XPNL-MOD1 is designed for electrical systems in Class I, Division 2 rated sites. This explosion proof panel kit consists of one main explosion proof switchboard with a purging system and three explosion proof panelboards. Capable of operating on 480V AC, the NEMA 4X main switchboard is equipped with three, 1200-amp panelboard interiors protected by a main breaker with 120V shunt trip which is activated should purge pressurization fail or become compromised. The main switchboard feeds three, 1200A main lug only panelboards with 3-pole 35kAIC branch breakers and purging system. \nThe first NEMA 4X explosion proof panelboard is equipped with the following breakers: (2) 150A, (2) 100A, (5) 80A, (6) 60A and (1) 30A. The second NEMA 4X explosion proof panelboard is equipped with the following breakers: (2) 125A, (2) 100A, (6) 80A, (4) 60A and (1) 30A. The third NEMA 4X explosion proof panelboard is equipped with the following breakers: (1) 125A, (1) 100A, (5) 80A, (5) 60A and (9) 30A. \nAn included pressurization device enables the explosion proof system to be used in Class I, Division 2 rated environments.
