This waterproof unit features remote tone selection and provides up to 104 dBa @ 1 meter output. Constructed of marine-grade aluminum alloy with an epoxy powder coated red finish, the explosion proof device contains a dual-entry cable configuration.\nThe ATEX-EPSN-8W-SH is designed for audio alarms and tones in explosive and ATEX-rated sites. This compact unit can produce 15 different tones (Short Horn Series IIB), with an output of 104 dBa @ 1 meter. The 8-watt hazardous area siren\/horn operates on 24 V DC, 120 V AC, or 240 V AC and features remote tone selection. Approved for Zone 1 IIB and IIC, the device is constructed of marine-grade aluminum alloy LM6 and finished with an epoxy powder coating (semi-gloss). The red ATEX-rated siren\/horn is IP66\/IP67 waterproof. \nWiring\/Mounting: The explosion proof siren\/horn contains two, 0.787\" (M20) hubs for cable connections. Mounting is faciliated by a stainless steel bracket. Two mounting holes can be found on the mounting bracket for seamless installation. \nApplications: Alarm and tone usage in hazardous locations, industrial sites, manufacturing, delivery centers, warehouses, and more.\nNote: The ATEX-EPSN-8W-SH siren\/horn can only play one of the 15 tones that are standard with the unit.
